New Features List… what’s next? (you tell me)
Well this site remained relatively unchanged from 2006-2009, then in the last couple of months I have done quite a bit:
- Moved to Google Maps API
- Significantly simplified interface
- Graphical upgrades (we got a logo, yay!)
- Added ability to remove maps
- Reverse geocoder interface
- Translations to different languages
I have gotten some positive feedback, and some “constructive” feedback about the changes. Hopefully I have resolved most the issues since the Google Maps move.
Let me know what you think of all these changes and where you’d like to see the site go next. Thanks!

I'd really like to be able to pick my own colors for map markers and custom size for the map.
Love the site and find it useful. It would be even better if you could add a data field to the standard spreadsheet with labels that would be printed on the icons (could be limited to 4 or 6 characters)
What a great tool this is, I think it probably does exactly what I want it to but have yet to discover how. My application would be to track distance from one base address to several locations ending back at the base address and to report the total trip mileage. Can you tell me if this is possible and maybe if I'm just brain dead? The distance report that I get back seems to show the mileage just between the base and a series of single locations in batch form.
Really just a great site thank you for developing this.

Hi there, I was wondering why you switched to the Google Maps API from Yahoo! ? I think it’s great that you have both options, just wondering why the switch. Thanks for this great site!
It would be great if there were a way in batchgeo (or via google map addon) to define a rectangular area of the map with a parameter for number of segments (like 2,4,8) and have each segment output to a jpg that could be printed and taped together.
